Body work and Panel Beating

To ensure a top quality finish it is imperative that all of the vehicles panels are straight, true and free from any signs of repair.

Any little imperfection in a panel will show out once the paint is applied. This is even truer when it comes to darker colours.

Our body work and panel beating process uses a wide variety of tools and techniques to achieve a defect free finish.

Panels that have been media blasted or stripped back to metal are hammer finished and then epoxy primed prior to block sanding and body fillers being applied. This will ensure a protective layer between the bare steel and any porous filler, preventing rust from re occurring.

Sound knowledge of each car and their construction is also critical, as this will ensure correct adjustment of body panels and even gaps around doors, bonnets, guards etc.

At CPR we extensively research each and every vehicle for correct fitment.
